Life is supposed to be Fair.....Really !!!
Now for a word from our sponsor..."'So many people who serve time never get a fair second chance".....Can anybody guess who made this soon to be famous quote??
Nope, it wasn't LULAC but that was a damn good guess!!! Try again. Wrong again.
Yeah it does sound like the Salvation Army but someone else said it first. These words were uttered by.....da da da da (drum roll please)............
His Highness himself, Emperor Obama. OMG!!! Can you believe it??? More rhetoric about life being FAIR!! Who told him life was supposed to be fair? If you listen to this stuff you would think he was raised in inner city Chicago! I wonder if the first family shops at Wal-Mart? So what was he talking about? The Emperor was referring to Jeffry Lurie, owner of the Philadelphia Eagles employment of Michael Vick. Touting what a magnanimous gesture he made to CONVICTED FELON Michael Vick. Never mind the horrific things he did to dogs. Since the emperor is now a dog owner you would presume a little more common sense from the Head of State.
Now the Emperor/Sports Commentator/Legislator of Fairness Guru is becoming increasingly transparent. The heart of the matter is NOT Michael Vick, his misdeeds or his talents. Digging a little deeper we find that Mr.Jeffry Lurie is one the largest democrat donors in the sports franchise industry.
Hmmmmmmm Have money?????????? Please see the Emperor for your complimentary BJ
as history has already proved out that Hillary doesn't "do that sort of thing"

We are Back
Words can not adequately express our experience in France. To travel in a land that has had a vibrant culture since the beginning of recorded history is really hard to define. Our tour guide would take us into a stone cathedral and point out that it has been standing here actively used since the 14th century or this other one since the 9th century is really hard to wrap your head around. To stand in one of these buildings and understand that every stone was cut by hand, carried on a cart pulled by mule, raised 6 or 8 stories to the point of completion is a exercise in stretching the cerebral. Visions of all the history that has transpired while these buildings stood here inundating my mind all at once overwhelmed me. We think of our USA as a reasonably established country but to put things in perspective Jesus was still a current event when some of these were built. The same to be true of the castles that litter the hillsides. Scenes we know to be true seeing them via some sort of media but the enormity of it all really comes home standing in the middle of it all.
The beauty of France is breath taking. Hills, rivers, chateaus, orchards, entire community's that were established 500 years ago, homes with a legitimate thatched roofs, the Cliffs of Normandy where our soldiers fought the Germans.
To touch a german bunker on the shores of Normandy is a moment in itself. Makes me really appreciate how I have never had to experience war on our shores from foreign occupation.
The American cemetary at Omaha Beach...................
I will have more to say soon and we will have pics up on google picassa. I will email everybody a link as soon as I am done with posting. We took almost 1,300 photos but have culled it down to about 850 to post on the net.

I applied for my CHL last week. I hedged my application by putting the new Barak Obama postage stamp on my envelope. If they deny me I can sue them on the basis of a hate crime. I'm a minority in my community. WHITE AS WHITE !!!! Have I mentioned the Texas border policies lately???

Tony Curtis and now Steven Cannell. The men and women that entertained us as well as helped shape us in our formative years are passing from this plane in to a existence unseen by us. Tony was a man of amazing talent and gifting but slightly lacking in mercy or in need of great mercy.....married 5 times...... Steven Cannell, writer of Baa Baa Black Sheep, The Rockford Files and a slew of others...dead @ 69. Let the voice of your mortality speak to you (Holy Spirit)
I spent Friday and Saturday with my beautiful wife at our farm, enjoying God's creation in its purist form. Wow, really makes me grateful for the life I have. When I take a few minutes I realize just how much junk I have. Just having a computer to share with you is a tremendous thing. God has been good to me....real real goood. How old were you yesterday? Today you are one step closer to your grave. The end of building your legacy. I attended 2 friends funerals this summer. Ross, age 59 and Tim, age 56. Never guessed that would be happening when I met them 15 years ago. I believe funerals are for the living, not the dead. The dead are done (strongest word in the English language if I need to remind anyone). Nobody seemed to want to talk to me at the funerals save the pleasantry's casually mentioned to replace any meaningful intimacy. Maybe I made a left turn and nobody wants to forgive me and let things go. Maybe somebody has a stick up their ass and is willing to sacrifice everything they learned in Sunday school to prove out how principled they are (sloan)It's all ok. Another 50 years or so and I'll be dead too. I hope somewhere in my epitaph it uses the word "principled"...........or at the very least "genuine"

Another Era has Passed Us By
Since surfing the net this summer was out of the question I have been diligently trying to make up for lost time. Today I spent some time a NNDB.com only to find out of the passing of the greatness of Pernell Roberts.......... This is so final!!!
Lorne Green, Dan Blocker & Michael Landon all left us behind so long ago. Pernell was the last star from Bonanza left alive. For so many of us Bonanza was a staple of life, westerns on TV were what it was, we grew up on Bonanza. Its really a slap in the face by my own mortality. Another door on my childhood is closed unable to ever be reopened. Im speeding towards 50 at an incredibly high rate of speed. No criticism from the peanut gallery either. I know I have readers older than I and I sympathize with you. I simply feel that my previous 50 lacked.....quality. Responsibility accepted here.
To all I have neglected I apologize. To all I have wronged please forgive.......me and others.
To my wonderful wife Nancy I pledge the next 50 years to be exciting, loving, and filled with contentment.....Gods grace & mercy
Carpe Diem

This makes me nuttttsss!!!!!!
The following is a copy of an article posted on the google news page. I have no issue with the reporter as there seems to be no bais present in the story but the entire subject simply makes me nuts. Please please please please PLEASE read the article then do a simple word search on your computer in the book of Revelation using a internet concordance.
As a culture and specifically as a people group we have rounded a corner that can't be undone. The moral fabric of this country is openly & permanantly stained. There is no turning back anymore. Perhaps I sound like a voice crying in the wilderness...........Also I want to say one more thing that I fully believe is inevetible...there will come a time soon, I believe that it will be during this governmental administration that our government will openly turn its back and condemn Israel for their actions. Beware the day.
With a laying on of hands, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on Sunday welcomed into its fold seven openly gay pastors who had until recently been barred from the church’s ministry.
The ceremony at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in San Francisco was the first of several planned since the denomination took a watershed vote at its convention last year to allow noncelibate gay ministers in committed relationships to serve the church.
“Today the church is speaking with a clear voice,” the Rev. Jeff R. Johnson, one of the seven gay pastors participating in the ceremony, said at a news conference just before it began. “All people are welcome here, all people are invited to help lead this church, and all people are loved unconditionally by God.”
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, known as the E.L.C.A., with 4.6 million members, is now the largest Protestant church in the United States to permit noncelibate gay ministers to serve in the ranks of its clergy — an issue that has caused wrenching divisions for it as well as for many other denominations.
Since the church voted last summer to allow noncelibate gay clergy members to serve, 185 congregations have taken the two consecutive votes required to leave the denomination, said Melissa Ramirez Cooper, a spokeswoman for the church, citing a tally that she said was updated monthly. There are 10,396 congregations nationwide.
The Episcopal Church and the United Church of Christ also allow gay ministers. And the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s general assembly voted at its convention earlier this month to do so, though the vote will become church law only if is ratified by a majority of the church’s 173 regional presbyteries. Two smaller Lutheran denominations, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, do not ordain ministers in same-sex relationships.
The seven ministers welcomed at the ceremony on Sunday had already been ordained and have been serving at churches or outreach ministries in the San Francisco Bay Area, but they had not been officially recognized on the clergy roster.
“The effect of them being brought onto our roster is they will now be part of our national database of pastors who are available for service in any of our 10,500 churches,” said Bishop Mark W. Holmerud, who leads the Sierra Pacific Synod, which includes San Francisco. He noted that while some congregations were open to consider hiring openly gay ministers, others were not — and each congregation is free to choose.
The Evangelical Lutherans designed Sunday’s special “rite of reconciliation” to mark the formal inclusion of gay ministers who were ordained in “extraordinary rites” that were not recognized by the church but were conducted by a group called Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries. Three more gay pastors will be welcomed at ceremonies in September and October, two in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area and one in Chicago, Ms. Cooper said.
Amalia Vagts, executive director of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, said, “It’s been a long and hard journey for a lot of people, and it feels like this is a new beginning in the history of the E.L.C.A.”
She said that all together, there were 46 openly gay ministers who had previously been excluded from the church’s clergy roster and would now be accepted.
The change was made possible after the Churchwide Assembly, the Evangelical Lutherans’ chief legislative body, voted at its meeting in 2009 to allow the ordination of noncelibate gay pastors who are in monogamous relationships. The denomination appointed a task force to study the issue in 2001, and spent the next eight years in debate. In the end, the proposal to permit openly gay clergy members won just two-thirds of the votes, the minimum required for passage.
Some who opposed it are now poised to leave. The Rev. Mark Chavez, director of Lutheran CORE, a coalition of theologically conservative Lutheran churches, said his group expected to form a new denomination, the North American Lutheran Church, in August.
He said of the ceremony on Sunday, “It’s just another steady step taken by the E.L.C.A. to move the denomination further and further away from most Lutheran churches around the world and from the whole Christian church, unfortunately.”
Before the ceremony, one of the gay pastors, the Rev. Megan M. Rohrer, said it had been a long journey from her home in South Dakota — where fellow Lutherans regarded her sexuality as a demon to be exorcised — to being finally welcomed as a minister in the Lutheran church.
“It’s an invitation,” she said of the ceremony, “to join us in the pews every single Sunday, where not a single one of these pastors will care if you agree with us or if you think our families are appropriate. We’ll serve you communion, we’ll pray with you and we’ll visit you in the hospital.”

I got em on the run now!!!
Snake #2 met his demise last week. I have created this massive burn pile out at the farm and I had a feeling that some copperheads were calling it home. I'm always right. After a couple of passes with the lawn mower my suspicion's proved themselves out. As I came by one more time a copperhead about 18" long decided to make a mad dash for the trees. First I did the natural thing and screamed like a little girl. That had him scared right there as he was now expecting me to beat him to death with a hammer after aimlessly emptying my 9mm. With a perfectly good riding mower at my disposal I simply redirected and rode over him. When he raised his head up to strike boy did he get a surprise!!! No hammer here for mister snake. instant snakechum.

Annie Get Your Gun!!!!!
Well it finally happened. Today we spotted our first snake out at the farm. Eeeewwhhh!!! I hate snaaaakes.... Nancy and I were trimming trees so we could have a area clear to work with the horses near the camp site and thats when it happened. As we were loading some limbs into the trailer she heard our pooch Laz let out a yelp. Thats right, he got bit...right on the face....by a copperhead!!! Poor dog. Dumb as he is he just didn't have enough sense to stay out of the snakes way. He had to stick his nose right down there to get a real good look. Now I now what your thinking. It's just a dogs nature to be curious about something new on the ground but this isn't the case as this snake bit him right where the last copperhead got a hold of him!!! Yup, bit on the face twice. shit he's retarded. At this point let the confusion begin. Totally forgetting I have a 12 guage shot gun in the truck for just such an occasion I ask her to hand me my 9mm pistol. What a CF that turned out to be. Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam......and so on untill the 15 round clip was empty. What the hell am I supposed to to do now? Just so happened this all took place while I was putting up lag bolts in the trees to tie up the horses so I took tha hammer already in my hand and beat that snake to pieces that I had already scared shitless unloading the 9mm all around him. He proly should of just stayed in bed today. I asked Nancy if she was sure Laz was gonna be ok AND if she was sure he wouldn't be anymore retarded from being bit on the face again as his face was now swollen like the michelin man and her answer was no......just no

It's a Conspiricy!!!!!
I'm telling you its a conspiricy!! Nobody in this town knows what's going on anymore. I've never met a group of people so directionally challenged. It's a just soooo soooo....... it's a mind bogglin thing. Nancy and I are settled in for a quiet Sunday afternoon and there is a knock at the door. Naturally the dogs go nuts so Nancy stepped outside to find a girl, a boy, and a box of groceries. The long and the short of it is that they are here from Brookshires, our local food distribution center intent on a home delivery with my groceries. Since the "Brookshires" logo explained away the "who" Nancy asked the "what & why". "The handi-capped man who lives at 301.....blah blah blah ordered these and we are delivering them responded the glowing young staff at the successful completion of their mission. With the appropriate questions asked and accompanied by my wife"s stunning good looks the delivery staff began to realize that perhaps....just perhaps she is not a handi-capped man and they were at the incorrect location. Just like all the mail in this town. Do you suppose the Brookshires staff could be related to my mail carrier?

Shiner the Wonderdog
Nancy and I are sitting in bed winding down for the evening. She is enjoying her tea and I am experiencing a fine brandy.....no, not the dancer. All was good, we are talking about our day, making a plan for tomorrow, and dreaming of our future. Then it happened. Out of nowhere I seemed to have a small episode of flatulence. God as my witness, at that moment Shiner the Wonderdog wined and cried in pain then jumped off the bed to sleep on the floor. Man's best friend my arse.

To the Peanut Nazi's
Today, June 14th of 2010 I did something I should have done years ago. I have talked about it over and over but today I put my money where my mouth is. I joined the NRA. I feel good about my new affiliation. Homeland Security are you listening??
I've never been one for bumper stickers but today is a day of change and I think I will have to revisit that decision of years ago. Never say never, right? Does anybody out there feel as stongly as I do about the way our freedoms are being stripped away? I belive that people are really desensitized to the ripping away of our freedoms. Just a little at a time. Like being TOLD that YOU WILL buy health insurance because its good for the masses. Do you realize that your "factored" rates will be to cover you as a healthy non smoker as well as the HIV crackhead unwed-mother?? Hardly seems fair if "fair" were a real word. Back to the NRA. This is a group that is portrayed as a bunch of extremist but if anybody were to take a realistic view of American history they will realize they are simply protecting freedoms guaranteed by our founding fathers. A time is coming when we will live in a state like our neighbor Mexico where the only individuals owning a fire arm are the criminals. At this juncture I must say that for most of my life I have been quite apathetic about what Usam's dictates have been but at nearly 50 I (a)have realized the value of a voice crying in the wilderness and (b)am genuinely concerned about the world I am leaving for my children since they have no sense of alarm regarding the signs of the times. Next entry will be a look at the lighter side of life cause that's important too.
If anybody out there has an opinion on the principles I have shared please take time to share them. Time is short. The new USSR is speedily cascading towards an irreversible and premature demise.
Next perhaps a look into "Life according to Shiner" (my dog, not the beer)

No more soup...I mean peanuts for you!!!!
I'm listening to the local talk radio station today......yes I know that makes me old but it's true, I listen to talk radio. Dave Ramsey is a prince among men. I digress. The news comes on and I hear it. I had to do a double take as it was so ludicrous. I've always heard that poo runs down hill and the trickle down effect can never be stopped, only slowed. The news caster announced that legislation has been introduced to BAN PEANUTS FROM ALL FLIGHTS because some airline patrons have exhibited allergic reactions to said peanuts. Welcome back to the United Soviet State of America comrade. Please have all orfices available for a cavity exam should Usam desire a more thorough look into your private past. Yes my friends, the peanut is about to go the way of the dinosaur. Our esteemed leader has decided to absorb our automotive industry, our communications industry, the HEALTH insurance industry by deciding for YOU that SAM will be the preferred vendor to sell health insurance and YOU WILL purchase insurance from SAM and SAM alone at HIS predetermined price. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo now here we are, All of us are to be forbidden to consume the nut on a airplane because a select few can't keep from putting objects in their mouths that aren't good for them. I am so a fan of socialism. This is really working out for me. The same news cast played an excerpt from the head of the Texas Workforce Commission asking him about the multi million dollar short fall in UNemployment benefits and what he was going to do about it. With much ambivalence he stated that they would simply raise the percentage taxed on small business's to meet the shortfall. I guess just NOT paying the UNEMPLOYABLE for the privilege of staying home to watch Oprah never occurred to him. I'm gonna have to get a night job delivering pizzas to support the taxes on my day job.

I feel so misunderstood
Sometimes it all seems a little pointless. I really have no idea if anybody out there really and I mean reeeeeeeally gets what I am talking about. My whole premise is to get people to think. Really think. Can anybody connect the dots? I'm not one to lay out a series of bread crumbs for the simple minded. I want you to think. Put the clues together. Think about what God see's when He looks down on humanity, which I might add is quite frequently. I think He see's a conundrum. (for the cerebral challenged segment of my audience a conundrum is a irreconcilable set of circumstances) On one side of creation He see's His creation that He had to sacrifice His own Son to keep every one of us out of hell. WOW!!! Can anybody say "highly valued"???? Let me play devil's advocate for a minute and say that on the other side of creation He see's a microscopic mammal that is HIGHLY egotistical, self serving, immersed in its own sense of infinite wisdom, a creation that has an infinite ability of cruelty towards its own species as well as the rest of creation, a sense of self righteousness that is played out in a perverse reality, an organism that is designed to be joined together on every level....from the physical to the spiritual, between each other as well as our creator. Does anyone besides me believe we are a little off track? I LOVE my creator but am highly biased against being identified with the group referred to as "christians". I've come to believe that the bunch of "forgiven" folks are the biggest bunch of trespassers I've ever met. Expressions such as "I did all I can, God will fix it" "I'm not perfect, just forgiven" Good God!!!! This is the most self absolving crap I have ever heard!!!!!! What ever happened to accountability? What ever happened to integrity? Did anybody ever read the storey of Joseph or Jacob???? Everything in this life exacts a price.....including your creator. He didn't just throw his son on the cross and then say "it's allllll gooood" How about Abraham?? Perhaps a little self sacrifice there?
I'm NOT picking on anybody in particular. I'm speaking to myself as well. Nobody really understands what sacrifice really is. "I fasted soda pop & coffee for a day" crap....... Did you know that if you ate (at all) today you are in the top 10% wealthy of the entire world??? Does anybody want to talk about integrity? Did you keep the extra 27 cents because the checker at brookshires can't count out change? Did you keep the pen handed to you to write out a check for your latest.....(fill in the blank) Did you allow someone to draw a "incomplete conclusion" because you didn't volunteer all the pertinent information? Did you not fill up the car with gas for your spouse because you "didn't notice" or you "forgot"??? My friend,
God saw you. Your conscience saw you. I saw you.....or should I say I saw me? Here's the deal. Integrity DOES NOT have a grading curve. Integrity DOES NOT have a percentage. Integrity IS NOT measured by what you did right...the last time.
Integrity is measured by.........Shhhhhhhhhh.........by what you do in secret. It's what you did when nobody is looking, When nobody knows.................
If nobody knows does it really matter??? Ask David then get back to me.
Robert
Value what you have been given, care for it like fine crystal, treasure it like it's the last one in existence, be ready to give it away at a whisper from the Lord.

Who's money spends the best?
Customer #1
I have a customer in mansfield who lives in a house that is not less than a million dollar home. It occupies 2 lots facing the golf course.
IT HAS 5 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. FIVE OF EM!!!!! I've been doing his A/C work for 10 years and well this guy, lets call him "jack" needs an evaporator for one of his systems. He has all Trane equipment which is great stuff, expensive too. So I said "Jack", It will be $1600-$1900 for the evaporator, freon and labor. "Jack" says to me... WHAT!!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!! A WHOLE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DOESN'T COST THAT MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. So when it was finally over and after threatening to call another contractor he relented to pay. Next I get a phone call from "Jack" asking me to replace a thermostat and whats his "Jack" price. Oh God, the rush of witty comebacks were so overwhelming that I almost blacked out. Can you hear it? For a man who is willing to say anything out loud that passes thru his brain I had to practice a lot of self control. I think I pee'd myself during the phone call. So I gave him a "Jacked price" thermostat and handed him a small personal victory. All in all I left with $1,800+ of his money. Hmmmmmm....enjoy the thermostat "jack".
Customer #2
Enter Charlotte winters. Charlotte "C" responded to an add I had posted on craigslist for used air conditioners. Used A/C's, $750 installed with a 30 day warranty. I sent my tech John over on a friday night to do the install. He returns with CASH. Monday, Memorial Day came and "C" was having some issues so I told her John and I would both come over to see what the problem was. Here's the nut.
"C" told me that she had been saving for over a month to have air conditioning in her mobile home. Somebody had fired a bullet hole thru her previous A/C. A friend had put a window unit in her bedroom so she could sleep. The thing is that "C" had no bitterness about how difficult the last month had been. As a matter of fact since we did a few extra things while we were there and it was memorial day she insisted on paying. I asked her for a token payment and went on my way.
So when I got home I took "Cs" money out of the box to take another look at it. It was sooo much more attractive than "jacks" $1,800.00 check. It looked like money earned. It didn't smell like "jack" had to sell one of his race horses to give his wife air conditioning. It had the sweetness of a single woman making the best of her life in a not so kind world.
pay it forward.......please, somebody needs you
"the poor you will always have with you..."
remember that you didn't arrive where you are today by yourself....my mimi taught me that.

my realtor
She told me she was the one for the job. She said "I can get it done" She is the player at Century 21 that sends me work all year long. She totally jacked up my MLS on realtor.com She can't f....ng count bathrooms. I have 4 1/2 bath's not 3 1/2. She said that she always thinks the two bathrooms off the master are just one bath. Let me ask you a question, When was the last time you saw 2 crappers in the same bathroom outside of walmart? She took a picture of a tree and put it on the web. Yes it was a tree in my yard but a picture of a tree? She can't read a tape measure either. She listed my living room as 10X14 when its really 20X50!!! A difference of a mere 860 square feet. Equally as many errors from room to room. Maybe she should be a door greeter at walmart.....I think she is related to my mail carrier.

post-creeped out
We had a delightful evening with Kevin & Willi. GreatGooGoolyMogooly that man can cook!!! Kevin has a "pellet fired" BBQ pit on which he cooked salmon and shrimp. Willi had prepared some cool sides in the kitchen to go with. Dinner was in the cabana so we began eating as the fish came off the grill. OMGsh. I was in the recreational eating phase before the evening was over. Kevin is a wine-ologist at heart. He has a stand up wine cooler in the dining room within arms reach of the table. He has a great philosophy about wine. He buys wine that he likes. When he buys something aged & pricey he doesn't just accept somebody's sayso that its' good. His motto is "prove it, I wanna see for myself" Before the evening was over we had completely consumed a 40 year old bottle of port. SMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmoooooooooooooooooooooTH. Oh yeah, Nobody asked us for sex either.

Synthetic DNA ??
Wow what a great idea!!! Has anybody seen the latest news in the world of science? This DNA mapping could revolutionize our world. I really think this is a old idea revisited trying to hide the usual "new & improved" tripe. Lets take a closer look at what Dr. Craig Venter has to offer his lesser genetic counterparts.
So this "guy" (we need a name for him, lets call him U.Sam) has figured out how to round up renegade free thinking host cells (again we need a name for these cells so I would like to propose we call them J.Q.Public) and contain them in a "controlled environment". This environment might be viewed as a camp of some sort where the cells are concentrated together hence now referred to as C.Camp. The propaganda and reprogramming into the base J.Q.Public cells is always for the greater good of/for/and administered by the larger host itself.............the
Utilitarian Samaritan Auspices, or for short the USA. Well with indiscriminate reprogramming of the cells, they can be applied for virtually any need and direction the greater & enlightened host deems necessary. For example...If the current belief was held by the host that a larger mass of cells were needed to elevate support with regard to "cleaning of the host exterior" a certain segment of the body might be targeted for reprogramming....we could refer to these as Public Asian Cells or PAC's. If we the body as a "whole" needed more exterior grooming for a refined appearance it might use Public Hispanic Cells or PHC's. With these wonderful leaps in technology we can "profile in" or "profile out" any "undesirable traits"
What a great plan!!! Looking at this on a even broader national level we can increase our resource availability by nationalizing all cells deemed "renegades" Kinda reminds me of WW2 with being able to isolate genes, rewrite their natural design and impose a "catch & release program. Hmmmmmmmmm
Inspite of the public assurance's issued by scientist affiliated with the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) regarding the risk of creating a black hole able to swallow our entire galaxy resulting from their experiments is relatively small in the grand scheme of things I still have some reservations.
Where do you suppose God stands on all this?????????????

creeped out
Ok, here's the deal. I took on a customer in cleburne that needed A/C work done. Well it turned into a 12K plus job and all's great. Nancy came over and met my customer and we all hit it off really great. Spent some time talking and such and had a very nice time. During the course of things they invited us over for dinner and wine for the 15th. So yesterday I'm driving to a job talking to John about my up coming dinner with Kevin & Willi and out of the blue he say's to me "they seem like the kind of folks that might be swingers" I penciled that in to the corosponding synaps and dendrytes. Fast forward to home with Nancy. Hey Nanc, John said to me that he thinks Kevin and Willi might be swingers and Nancy then says to me "I was thinking the same thing"......................I'm soooo creeped out at this point I don't know what to do. They are really nice folks and if I'm wrong I don't want to screw up a potentially good friendship. But if they are how will this play out? Will they wait til someone has to pee and make their move? I'm afraid to go pee now. I might let it be known that Nancy has a.........I mean that I have a rash of an embarassing nature and I'm not sure where I got it? What kind of name is Willi for a girl any way? Beside's, I'm not even attracted to Kevin.

I'm not sure this counts......but I think I might have "felt up" Nancy's mom a few days ago. I know....it makes my head hurt thinking about it. It all started when Nancy and I made our weekly trek to Southlake to see her parents at their retirement home. The plan was to get the old folks and take them out for a bite to eat. Her dad, Phil is always ready for a run on the town but Ethel usually needs some maintenance so off too the bedroom she goes. Nancy, Phil & I are having a nice visit (I have my back to the bedroom door) when Ethel returns and stands just a little behind me out of my line of site. She took my hand like she usually does when we go somewhere, I looked at Nancy in time to see her smile, then it happened.....................................Ethel reached in to her blouse, took her boob out and put it in my hand...........................That seems a little wrong doesn't it? Having an 86 year old woman's boob in my hand. When I looked over only to find out it was her prosthetic boob I didn't know if I should be horrified or relieved.

Doctors & Nurses
Years ago I knew somebody who wanted to be a Medical Assistant. That's a respectable profession. The story went like this. On the very first day of class the teacher said they would all learn to provide injections to patients. The way this is done is as follows.
1. The teacher volunteers one student and performs an injection on said student.
(none of that practicing on a tomato crap like you see on TV)
2. You may return to your seat now.
3. Ok, now that you have seen it done on my first volunteer I will divide
the class in half. The first half will be the volunteers and the second half will provide the injections. After you have successfully performed the injection you will reverse roles and become the said volunteer.
4. Repeat.
5. Repeat again.
6. Repeat the repeat.
So now here's is the question that begs to be answered as I have a doctors appointment coming up soon.
For the doctors and nurses I previously mentioned,
"when prostate exam day rolls around in the class room, just how does that play out?"
*******PLEASE GOD, I DON'T WANT TO VOLUNTEER

Nancy and I went to Glenrose on the scooter last night to eat dinner at restaurant by the river. Its in a house built back in the late 1800's. Great dinner. Beautiful evening. Highway 67 straight home. Eeeeeeeeasy. Were rolling along kinda stretching the scooters legs if you will and I see the prettiest blues and the brightest red lights in my mirrors. poop. Well ossifer friendly wanted to chat about where I was going and why. Why do they always ask that? It never seems to change the general outcome of the situation. Apparently he had been trying to visit with me for a while because after we got to talking another of his buddies showed up. He then informed me that he had radioed 3 other of his friends to come to the gig if they could catch me. So were standing there on the side of the road and the strangest thing happened to Nancy. She had some sort of reaction to the flashing lights and her nose started to itch. I didn't want to alarm her but my first thought was that they figured they had caught a coked up couple running in from meheko. Look away baby. DON'T let em see you scratch. Tic Toc Tic Toc. Well as it turns out he ended up giving me an invitation to some guy named J. McBrooms party. Judge McBroom, yeah thats it. So I took my invitation and God as my witness said "I need you boys to count to 10 when I leave" Oh yeah and the ticket? Lets just say I did the 18 miles from Glenrose to Cleburne in 12 minutes. You do the math.

Fairness ?
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Now a word from our sponsor.
"The actions by the Arizona legislature threaten "to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans," Obama said. It also may hamper trust between residents and law enforcement authorities, he said.
DID ANYBODY CATCH THAT??????????????
I read it twice, ok three times and I didnt see any mentions of fairness by the authors of this pledge. I see promises of justice, of a unified nation living under the sovreignty of God, and a dash of Liberty thrown in for good measure. Do we need to discount the pledge of allegiance to accomodate our new politically correct policies?
Now this fairness crap thrown in by the current dictator encouraging all of us to be equal cause thats whats fair is, is a load of shit. The whole concept of living in a republic (yes I know that it may come as a suprise to some of you that we don't live in a democracy in spite of what you were told) designed around a capitalistic system is anything but fair. Here's the deal. You work hard you make lots of money and retire at a reasonable age with a certain level of dignity. If you dont work you live off the welfare system ( If anything was so inappropriately named its that. It should be called the loserfair or the I'm lazy cause its fair system) hell, fair isn't even a real word as far as I'm concerned. What did your dad tell you when you said "Its not fair"? He said "Tough, it's my decision and not yours"
Why is it that grownassadults cant take no for an answer? Perhaps because we live in a world surrounded by adult children, raised by spoiled baby boomers who have made living in a state of excess the norm. This whole "entitlement" attitude makes me so sick I want to crap out my mouth. I commend Jill Brewer and the AZ congress for taking agressive action against law breakers. Action that was mandated by what is RIGHT and JUST since our federal government is run by a bunch of pussies who got there PC weener in a twist cause it didn"t make EVERYONE happy at the same time. Arizona made the fed's look bad by doing their job for them.
I'm sending Jan Brewer campaign money the next time she runs for any office, be it governor, senator, or hall monitor.

Happy Anniversary to ME
WOW!!! Can it be a year already? I took my lovely wife Nancy to the tourist trap of Granbury TX for a overnighter at one of the local B&B's. It's really a quaint little town and kinda romantic. Now it does have more than its share of texas pretentious blue hairs wandering the streets with a male counter part in tow practicing the appropiate 2 to 3 steps in her shadow. Thats another story. Lets focus on the occasion at hand. Friday the 16th was our 1 year anniversary!!! What a wonderful thing. The weather was a little dicey for my liking but when Nancy asked me how to dress I said "live large baby, put on your leathers!!" so off we went with minimal belongings and maximum motor-scooter!! It was fantastic!! We went down route 4 from Cleburne to Granbury with all its twist and turns and scenery. Its not a very long ride from here (about an hour) but its always one of my favorite roads especially on a long day when I can venture further out to Mineral Wells then Possum Kingdom. With an early start we had plenty of time to do some of the tourist stuff. Right now we have been visiting local Texas wineries and there just so happends to be two in Granbury. Check in at the B&B and on with the tour. The first being the Barking Rocks winery. Yes thats right, Barking Rocks.
As the story goes per the proprietor of the vinyard the farm was once owned by Helen Knox. She with her I supposed sense of glory had her initials inset in the side of the stone walled barn signifying her leadership. Well according to his story he couldnt ever decide on a name for his wines and vines. Enter excessive alcohol intake here. He recounts that after a nght of very excessive drinking with his friends that the stone initials also looked like a dog barking.....hmmmm barking rocks? BARKING ROCKS!!! YES THATS IT!!!!! Sobriety came but the name stuck. For his wines I must say they were a little dry for me. The reds were dry. The rose's were dry. The whites were dry. Me thinks he is a fan of the dry wine. Did you know that red wines are really clear? Let me explain. Red grape juice is clear. They process the red grapes with the skin ON to give it its color. If it were processed like a white wine with no skin on the grape it would be just as clear. Things that make you go..........HHmmmmmmmmmmmmm
On to the next winery. De'Vine Wine in the town square. Sounds a little touristypreppyishyuppyfied doesn't it. Turns out the franchise is owned by a juice company in CA. They had it alllll. Great wines, great pesto, meat, cheese and cracker plate. Great service and a great port wine. Very sweet. All that wine tasting makes a couple hungry so off we went in search of sustinance. Hanks grill here. Food was good. Our server did need a little education on how to perform his job and I was more than happy to accomidate him. What is the first thing a server is supposed to do upon my arrval to a table? Anybody?? Hi, my name is ________. I'll be your server today. Can I start you off with some pickle projectors or maybe some freedom fries? You get my point. Give me a name!!!! At the close of the meal he brought me my change. A $1, a $5 and a $10 bill. That really doesn't leave me much choice on a tip does it? I can promise you that the $10 was out at this point in our relationship. I carefully explained the value of giving me variety regarding my choices of currency and how this CAN AND WILL have a direct affect on his financial well being and future economic status. Onward. Back at the B&B for a little break. Our B&B came with its very own onsite inn keeper. She was available pretty much all the time. Nice girl, Melinda was her name. The inn was a queen ann build of about 120years old and nicely redone. Each room was themed with an era. Ours was the colonels room. Military memorabilia from 1890ish thru WW1. Some cool stuff. Oh, by the way, if anyone desires to get into the B&B business this one is for sale at the low low price of $339K. This bargin price does include the contents and a web site. Inn keeper is optional.
That night we ate at a little place called The Loft. Dinner ran about $70 and for the selection seemed worth it. I enjoyed the chicken scalopini while my beautiful bride selected the roast duck, mmmmmmmmm. She always picks goood.
All done for the night. Now the rain comes....and it rains and it rains and it rains and it rains. Hello morning...and it rains. Breakfast is over. still raining. Oh well. Saddle up my love, were going for a ride, btw remember that leather jacket you wore? I suggest you put it on. I have ridden in the rain before and it probaly won't be the last so we saddle up and go. Shocking how much more scenery you notice when traveling at a reduced rate of speed. I always say a bad day motoring is better than a good day working. All things considered we had a wonderful time and the preceeding year leading up to this event was truly one of adventure.
How is your adventure? Have you taken any risk lately? Have you risked it all for the love of someone else? Do you remember that every breath is borrowed? I suggest that in a moment you be willing to risk everything you value for someone you love. Be vulnerable.
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Dinner with the Outlaws
I will do my dead level best to recount events as I remember them. I was born a poor black child.....no no wait, thats a different story. My dear dear sweet son-in-law Pete invited Nancy and myself to his birthday party which was to be held at Dickies BBQ in Arlington at 6 pm saturday the 10th. Nancy and I had been out on the motor bike for a good part of the day and I usually feel some what immortal after a nice ride. A bad day riding is always better than a good day working. Back to the birthday. Pete did qualify his invitation with the information that Jeanene and her parents were also on the guest list for said party. I am not afraid. Nancy and I showed up a 6 on the dot. Everything was fine up to that point. Its fair to say we entered the building with out event but things took an immediate left turn once our arrival became known. I find the birthday group off at a table by themselves and do a quick head count. Friends Jason,Jana, Tara. Family was as follows: Pete, Tiffney, Adam & Tanae.....and the ex father-out-law and ex mother-out-law aka John and Cleta.
No Jeanene. What a surprise. Perhaps she was running late tonight. We enter and the expression on Cletas face went from "I'm Queen of the World to Who the hell invited him??........and HER!!! At this point it was clear that Pete had proofed his guest list with me but none of the other invites. Personally I was hoping for a civil interaction with the former extended family but they would not have any of that. Seeing as how my baby girl Tanae is due with her first born on July 2nd and allllll of us will be seeing ALOT of each other at the birth!!
Well Cleta said "This...This...This wont work" Then she blamed Tiffney, called her an ass and walked out the door with her john in tow. Tanae, God bless her being the peace keeper that she is left the room, called her mom and reported the sequence of events. Jeanene extended her proxy birthday wish via Tanae but was called away at the last moment and wouldnt be able to attend. Damn shame she was running late this particular day and missed all the fun. Well back to the party. Adam told pete that he was selfish and if I remember correctly he called him a "douche" before he went to get his food. That was an awkward moment for the rest of the group. Anyhow everything after that was fairly uneventful. I did seat Nancy and myself in the outlaws chairs as they had taken the time to warm up them up with their hineys before they left. I really had hoped everyone could put on their big person panties and just get along. Life is what it is. Things are what they are. Cant be changed. Get over it and be mature about things. Did anybody consider the fact that acting out that way they are only hurting the ones that love them? Calling Tiffney an ass certainly is not a very endearing term. Heres the deal. My son-in-law Pete loves his entire family. John, Cleta, & ME & my Wife. He wanted us at his party cause we are his family too. Cant anybody figure out that this was about Pete and not them? I consider this behavior a tad on the selfish side. Its sad that it permeates every day relationships to the degree that they cant be "grown ups" for an hour to honor someones birthday. Let the one with out sin cast the first stone.

My mail carrier, Texas wineries & a guy named Ritchie
So much to discuss today. It was a very busy weekend. I have been promising to discuss the inadequacies of my mail carrier for some time now so we will start there but I think everybody will find the weekends happenings interesting as well.
I have lived at my current address for 2 years and 3 months. During this time my mail carrier has neither bothered to learn my name, my address or my familys names. We have established the fact that he can identify Numbers, as anything that says
"301" on it ends up in my box. There is a man down the road who shall remain nameless since he is equally as guilty as my mail carrier. I used to call him when his mail would end up in my box typically 3-4 times a week. As a good neighbor I put it in a plastic bag on a table by my back door. Weeks turned into months and the bag would fill up. Turns out he was about as interested in collecting his mail as the the carrier was in getting it to him. This man is a local business owner. I wish I could run my business this way and still turn a profit. Anyway after months of collecting his mail I gave up on this approach. We took his mail back to the post office and explained to the POST MASTER the goings on and here is her response and I quote "If I were you I'd just throw it away" OMG!!!! Can you believe that??? Aparrently I pay this person 42 cents a whack to torture me. What the hell did she tell people to do with my mail? I'd love to camp on this for a bit but onward we go. I procured a sharpie and wrote on "Compressor Worlds" mail NOT AT THIS ADDRESS on one piece of mail, on another I wrote Compressor World @ 301 EAST not WEST and you know what happened??????????????????????????? I got a nasty letter from the post master demanding I stop writing on the mail. Now this leads to another question. I am reasonably certain that I was the only one in the room when this alleged happening of defacing a wayward piece of mail took place. Sooooooooooo why was I the lucky recipient of more government hate mail? Did everybody in town with 301 in their address get one or is it possible that maybe........just maybe they know the carrier drops compressor worlds mail here and nobody give a flying .....? They sent me the letter cause I am the one who stood up and said I dont want other peoples mail, just my own please. I'm sure this is somehow related to Homeland Security and the door nazi's who work for the TSA. Hi baby girl. How ya doing today?
So at this point in time my story is simply that I receive only my own mail and nobody elses. Yes I do believe that recycling news papers, advertisements and various other mailings is good for our environment. :-)
Quick story about my famous dog "Shiner the Wonder Heeler"
We were out at the farm last week to meet the farrier as I had decided to take a pass on this trimming. After it was all done our two dogs shiner and laz were playing tag, barking at each other and doing basically dog fun things. Well shiner ends up on his back between Nancys legs wiggling around and acting kinda dorky while laz is barking up a storm trying to get shiner to play with him. I thought I would encourage shiner a bit so I looked at him and said "git him" Things kinda went south from there. Shiner jumped up and ran away. He ran straight away. He ran straight out into the pasture, picked out the biggest horse in the herd and commenced to unleashing a rain of terror on that poor horse like he had never seen before. It was that fast. At that point the wonder dog was no longer interested in anything I had to say and was completely consumed with the task at hand.....My dog is an ass.
I'm sorry horse.***mental note, dont use "git him" around the heeler.
I will address the weekend next as I really need to apply my self to some profit taking before the day is over. I have a very interesting story about a guy named Ritchie and some local wineries.

The sun is out
What a beautiful day!! We had a 10 am appointment with the farrier at the farm this morning. He was late.........80% Well it was just so gorgeous out Nancy had to do some fast talking to convince me to go back to work. blah. A bad day fishing is better than a good day working. I just enjoy being out there so much. All seems to be right with the world at the farm. Its quiet. Its secluded. Its just so ideal and its 25 minutes from infrastructure like tractor supply, where America's farmer shops.
Horses running here and there, wild turkey in the bush and you never know when white tail deer are gonna show up. It could be in the middle of the day when you're eating lunch at the picnic table and they just start running across the pasture. With the exception of my grandmothers goodness to me in raising me at the camp I loved in the Adirondacks I have never felt so connected to a geographical location. Its like...................its like....,well I guess its like a dream. A dream come true. I am so pumped about getting this house in the city sold and moving out to the farm. I am excited about having all my kids & grand kids out there on a regular basis so I can share it with them. I want them all to be a part of it. Most of all its a home that Nancy & I picked out together. That's really exciting!!! Two people who want the exact same thing. I have some pseudo blue prints of the cabin we are gonna build as soon as we get this place sold. We will start small then add on, trying to do it all on a cash basis. I am sick of watching all my money go out the door every month.
Hmmmmmm back to happy thoughts. I have 2 pictures of the camp in NY on my desk. They really inspire me. First they remind me of all the wonderful summers I spent with Mimi there. Thank God. I know I was a handful during the younger years and Mimi must have had to have the patience of a saint to endure but she recognized how much I needed her. I needed the stability and saneness she brought to my life. Of course I didn't know it at the time.........it was all about me. She knew. At this point I will say unabashedly to PAY IT FORWARD. Next is the inspiration I get from the courage and passion my grandfather must have had to build and own 2 homes. His intention was to build a legacy for his family to enjoy. Wow !!! What a visionary!!!
Living in today's society of instancy we loose sight of the degree of difficulty our predecessors endured for the conquest they obtained......... now its alllll freeeee. ok, the health insurance is only free to the folks who don't work. People like you and me can pick up the tab for the rest of the nation.
I must leave you now before my cynicism sneaks in and spoils it all and besides my motorcycle is calling my name. I realize there is more to be said regarding the camp and what impact it had on the members of the family but it will have to wait till next entry as well as what my hopes and dreams are for our farm. Yes I know I have said this before but I really really promise, we will address the inadequacy's of my mail carrier very soon. Keep the shiny side up!!

I love my wife :-) She makes me smile.

I'd like to talk a little about Colorado con't
Good afternoon to everyone. Its a beautiful day in Texas with a high of 71 and sunny. I truly truly love sunny days. I store them up in my soul for when we have those 3-4 days of overcast weather. Keeps me alive till the sun returns. I really enjoyed that about Colorado. LOTS of sun, a little cool.............Ok, down right cold for my liking but survivable as the sun is high and bright.
I do need to address a little in house business today. For those who are not familiar with my dry sense of humor or my clever wit I feel I need to clarify. At first glance my blogs might simply appear to be a tad on the angry side.
I AM NOT AN ANGRY PERSON!!!!............LOL That was funny! I don't care who you are................I'm still laughing. Anyway, the items I discuss are important to today's society. Where we are is highly indicative of where we are going and at a rapid rate I might add. I have been accused of being highly cynical before and it prolly is apparent in my writings but be informed that my wife helps keep me centered with a dose of healthy skepticism. My point is this. I will continue to address items that are important to all of us as Americans, sometimes with satire, sometimes with cynicism, sometimes with just a little dry humor and sometimes just straight up. Keep in mind that my views are a little..........how can I say it...........Previously established by an earlier standard greater than myself.
There will always be compassion in my heart for those who's desire is to rise to the next level, for those who's passion is to be a better person, for the one whose response is mercy. Mercy for the one who failed, NOT THE INDIVIDUAL WHO GAVE UP!!!
For those who give up on themselves, who give up on life because its "not fair" I would recommend leaving them behind. Screw this mentality that "the government has to take care of me" cause I don't wanna do it myself. I cant....I caaannt. whatever.
Find out where you came from. Whose image your made in then act the part. Grab life by the throat and make it behave. No more of this crap about "I cant get a break" "Everybody is mean to me" YOU have the power to change your life with out Sam doing it for you ( I can't even say Uncle Sam anymore) and continuing to sacrifice your liberties. Did anybody see the Matrix? We are headed in this virtual direction Kneel before the one who has power over your soul and deify the one who says "you will be equal with all others and I will rule over you"
I met bryony when she was 24 in Park City, Utah. She is a exciting young woman with an unparalleled zest for life. When she was 19 she decided moving from England to Costa Rica and living in a tent on the beach for a year was a good idea, so she did it. WOW, talk about courage. Anyway we connected right away. I saw great gifts in her deposited by her creator that were at this point untapped. At the same time I was connected with a pastor here in Texas who was teaching some college level classes that would benefit her in her journey. Bryony came to Texas on 3 different occasions for the classes and has absolutely exploded with the call on her life. Fast forward. Bryony met Logan Oct, 2008 and they were a perfect fit. Fast forward again. Nancy and I attended the reception dinner for B&L. I was totally amazed at the woman I saw. She had climbed on top of LIFE itself and ridden the wave. All the classes she had taken she put to work and this literally uncorked what she is so passionate about. What and who she is called to be!!! She and Logan each spoke about every person there in front of everybody there. They talked about how each person there had influenced them over the years in becoming who they are today. People the had known 10 years, 15, 20 & 25 years. Amazing things. Then she got to me. Ive known her for 4 years. Bryony began to tell about the value of the the gift I gave her and how it changed the direction of her life. Im stopping here about the me stuff because that's not my point. My point is this. A single self-less act can completely change the direction of somebody's life when they walk thru life NOT with their hand out but earnestly seeking the direction they were predestined to walk. I gave Bryony a gift she never asked for. She had earned it by way of integrity of character. She paid it forward!!! No entitlement attitude here. Simply a girl who believes that the world owes her nothing and will sacrifice the pleasure of right now to inherit the kingdom tomorrow........................
Next entry will be the wrap up on Colorado. Rest assured that there will be plenty to discuss regarding our new highly esteemed monarch. Wake up Homeland security!!! It will be worth the read!!! We might even touch on Sara Palin and the NRA and what they mean to you.

I'd like to talk a little about Colorado
I really really would like to talk about our trip to Colorado and I will eventually but first I am compelled to discuss the newest piece of legislation forced, jammed, and coerced thru our congress. I literally get sick to my stomach every time I think about it. I am not against health care. I am not against wellness care. I am not against capitalism. I am heavily against welfare and the destruction of a individuals ability to build wealth. I am against my government forcing me to be the same as everyone else. I am against the government telling me I will purchase insurance from their designated provider hence defraying the cost of insurance for some CrackHeadCigaretteSmokingAlcoholic who is gonna die at the ripe old age of 42.
I am soooo against a government that insist I have such a over abundance of wealth that I can afford to provide insurance for employees who havent developed a skill set strong enough to enable them to earn enough money to purchase insurance. As a small business owner I have a vested interest in all this. I know that some of my readers are Small Biz owners yourselves. The biggest part of this deal nobody seems to notice. THIS VIOLATES YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!!! The federal government controls our banking industry. The federal government controls the automotive industry. The federal government now controls the health care industry. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMERICA!!!! These are 3 essentials to our freedom that have been removed from you by your leaders!!!! These are now all things that the government can & will take away from you!!! Hello USSR !!!! Were here folks. By the Feds now dictating when you will purchase, how much you will pay, & who you will purchase insurance from & for they have now set a NEW STANDARD. This will be used against in courts the same way as "the rule of law" is referenced in other law suits. You are no longer a free citizen of the United States. From this point forward you will be considered a subject of the United States Socialist Republic. Welcome to the "cast" system.
I no longer have any incentive to lose weight, be drug free, avoid HIV, be emotionally healthy, encourage my wife & family to live a healthy moral life. BIG BROTHER is gonna take care of me. I believe him. I know its true. I saw it on TV>
We bugged out thursday the 18th and logged a solid 15ish hours to get to Parker, CO.
Damn it was cold. We beat the incoming snowblizzard-a-thon by a couple hours. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate being cold??? Its right there with how much I hate WalMart. I digress. We drove hw287 all the way to Raton,NM. GreatGoogoolyMoogooly thats a long uneventful ride.......yawn. Right turn in Raton and the excitement begins. Up, up, and some more up. The mountains kept coming, beautiful mountains. Snow capped mountains and 60 degrees down at the base. Very cool stuff. Did you know the speed limit is 75 mph out there? People really know how to open it up out there..........mental note, must purchase a new camaro.....Anyway we made it as far as Trinidad before the hunger pains became unbearable. Enter "Nana & Nano's" italian restaurant. Oh my gosh!!! Hand made beef ravioli in marinara sauce!!! Mmmmmmm!!! We highly recommend this place but they are only open wed-sat. On to Parker. BTW, My lovely wife and I took about 800ish pictures of our trip (many of which thru the winshield) and will be posting them on google picassa for you viewing pleasure. It will be a private album so please send me a email requesting a link and I will reply.
(the internet is and will be one of the final freedoms removed from us, cencorship will be for our own good, just like health insurance) I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we did taking them. Does anybody wanna hear my thoughts on the NRA???
I should mention that the entire purpose of our trip was to attend a wedding. My friend from England, Bryony Raiswell who is living in CO and near and dear to my heart requested our presence. Anywho..............jeepers, I just realized the time. Gotta go for the night. Next post will be a more intensive look at our trip intermixed with some current events, social obscurities, and possibly more on my mail carrier. I dont even know his name. LOL Thats sooooooooo funny cause he doesnt know mine either!!!! LOL

United States Socialist Republic
Did anybody read this on the news?? This made blood shoot out my eyes!!!
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The authorities in southern New Jersey said Saturday that they had arrested a 16-year-old boy for activating a public-address system at a Wal-Mart store earlier in the week and ordering “all black people” to leave.
The boy, whose name was not released because he is a minor, was charged with bias and intimidation and harassment in connection with the episode last Sunday. If convicted, he could face up to a year in a juvenile detention center, officials said.
Now I do want to go on record that I do NOT condone the activities of this individual as they are way out of line in our soooo politically correct world but did anybody catch what he was charged with? Bias, Intimidation & Harassment.
Have you ever heard of something so subjective in your life?? We have reached the status of a true socialist republic. There, now I have said it. Home land security will undoubtedly be auditing my blog, phone, emails & movie rentals but this only proves my point. How do you defend yourself in a court of law if you are accused of being biased?? Since when did being biased become a crime anyway? I heard Bill Gates harbors some bias against Apple. Any arrest warrants being issued there??
How did this individual get past the famed Wal Mart greeter in the first place? Arent there protocols in place to prevent such an occurence? I really cant think of any other outfit more deserving of an incidence like this than Wal Mart.
Do you like the vegetable nazi going thru your bags in the parking lot because the checker forgot to de-energize the security device in that bag of uuhhhhhh errrrr femine products??? Lets remember that Wal Mart is the very same company that FIRED EVERY EMPLOYEE and closed a store in Canada because the employee's wanted to form a union. Perhaps working at WM isnt as good as the WM police say it is.
Lets recap
1. Vegetable Police
2. Checkers that forget
3. Democracy going the way of the dinosaur
I am just stunned at the charges leveled against this man. How about trespassing? How about a genuine ass whipping from his dad?
That seems to be the only legitimate charge here but not in the new USSR.
These are your tax dollars at work America, funding a bunch of leftist 80%ers.
How does it feel?

re-addressing mediocrity from Colorado
There are several things I would like to address today. My endeavor is not to leave on a sour note but to have imparted a bit of inspiration to all who desire to go to the next level in life. Up your game..............I promise this is not the the last time you will hear that and there will be a quiz later. Listen up.
I'm in the dining room listening to Nancy speak with another stellar state employee by the name of Mike Watson. This is the man who is responsible for all the 911 addressing in Hill county. Her question to him was as follows: "I would like to verify the address of our farm as we are about to have a drive way installed and start building" I should mention that the only message on this guys voice mail at his office with the county was "leave a message" then the beep. Anyhow Mike calls her back and says to her that our address is 1289 not 1293.........He goes thru his explanation of how he figured that out and thats the deal. Well being the inquisitive young man I am I just had to ask. Ask what? you say? Well since we own the entire last block exiting Hill county ie:addressing beginning @ 1200-13???? I asked Nancy to ask the question. Here it is, Since we own all this street frontage AND all the deeds filed with the county, all the applications for utilities, all the mail is sent to, all the contracts regarding this say 1293, why cant we just keep this address? Mikes response was this and I quote. "Hmmm, That would be a lot easier, wouldnt it?"
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to believe leadership rose to the top.
I now believe that 80 percenters float to the top like an old turd forcing all of the leaders of tomorrow out of the way. We need to fight the 80 percenters that are over running our country!!! How you ask? UP YOUR GAME!!! When asked to walk a mile with someone grab their hand and show them a marathon!!! Show humanity that there is a higher level to apsire to. We can do this. Be a 100 percenter!!! Set the bar HIGH!! Upon doing this you will also find that other 100 percenters will be attracted to you. In business and on a personal level. People of excellence. The losers will fall away like chaff in the wind freeing you to be the person God created you to be, to be someone you never dreamed possible.
I implore you. Set the bar high enough so that it is hard work for you to meet your own standards. This will make you a better person and cause others who are dissatisfied with their mediocre existence to aspire to rise to the top.
Next entry we will be examining the life of my mail carrier, yes the mail carrier who insists that I cange my name to one of 3 choices, Mr. Compressor World, John Swindle or Raymond Gonzales....good grief.....and there is always the that other question looming in the background....who's getting my mail?

A little about me....and what concerns me
This is about me. I realize that might sound a little narcissistic but its not. This blog is about me but its for YOU. Life has a way of unfolding in front of you in many many ways that you didnt see coming. Having rounded the globe a mere 50ish times but accumulating the mileage of a centarian it is my privilege as well as my obligation to "share" if you will with my...................................entourage. I have always viewed life slightly to the left of most of humanity. Things that pass for adequate with the populus do NOT make it with me. Self imposed standards. Upping my game. Staying out of the stirred pot called mediocrity that sooooo many of todays self percieved up and comers would really find themselves a part of if having taken a 15 minute personal inventory. I submit to you the famed "Wal-Mart greeter"
this proves my point. We will revisit this item along with America's 80%ers, the IRS and my mail carrier's inadequacy. Over 2 years at this address and I still havent changed my f....ing name to Compressor World to accomodate him. God help me. More on all this later as time permits. Before I go I would like to thank you for reading my blog and indulging me for 3 months. This will allow you a fuller understanding of where I am going with this (since all of humanity will eventually follow) and hopefully a deeper appreciation of where I've been. The latter dictating the former.
